The Radiotherapy for Early Breast Cancer

Abstract
|
|
|
Early breast cancer can be treated by limited surgery followed by radical radiation therapy. Compared to the results of radical maslectomy series, there is no significant difference in locoregional control rate and survival, but one can preserve the breast.
Therefore, radical radiation in early stage breast cancer seems a reasonable alternative to radical mastectomy.
